Cold Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy, or low-level laser therapy, is a safe and non-invasive way to promote healing that is FDA approved. When different wavelengths and outputs of low-level light are applied to the target area, the body’s tissue absorbs the light causing a reaction within damaged tissue. This leads to a physiological reaction that promotes regeneration and healing.

Common Treatment

The main uses for cold laser therapy are tissue repair and relief from pain and inflammation. Common conditions treated include: muscle strains, tendonitis, bursitis, tennis elbow, pain, inflammation, carpel tunnel and fibromyalgia.

Some patients will feel relief of pain and experience an increased range of motion right away. If the condition being treated is chronic and severe, it may take several treatment sessions to produce a significant noticeable result.
